Volume : Kindred
Is the canon of photographs and their accompanied writings devoted to the people I’ve been strung to in this life, who - either by blood or by choice- have become my family. My family grows bigger all the time, full of mothers, and fathers, and brothers, and closeness without titles, and oh- most notably, sisters. But all really, those I call my friend.
The chapters in this volume are dedicated to my kin, who each have their own room in the empire that is my heart.
As much as I romanticize wandering into the forest all alone, living out my days as the little lone-wolf lady half of me is, my life is significantly richer being able to relish in all this earthly beauty next to someone I love. And I love them each for showing me that, over and over again.
As I unearth this lifeline of work, they will be resting here- in time.
